Please take note that where daily fees are charged, fees are calculated by multiplying the applicable daily fee by the number of Child Care days in the month. Church St. School Child Care Centre does not offer part-time care.
Fees will be charged for all days the Child Care Centre is in operation, as well as Statutory Holidays. Fees are higher on non-instructional days (i.e. PA days, Winter Break, March Break, Summer Break) due to the increase in staffing costs associated with providing full-day care.
Families are required to pay fees during Winter Break and March Break regardless of attendance. Fees will apply for all Statutory Holidays. Statutory Holidays within the Winter Break and Summer period will be charged at the PA Days & School Holiday Rate.
Fees will not be refunded if the Centre is forced to close due to unforeseeable and/or uncontrollable events (e.g. snow day). Kindergarten and School-Age children enrolled in P.M. only or AM & PM care are automatically enrolled in care on non-school days. AM Care only are not guaranteed care on non-school days.
As the costs associated with your child’s space remain the same regardless of whether or not he or she is physically present in the Centre, we are not permitted to hold your child’s space without payment of fees, and no refunds will be given for absent days. Full-fee paying children are entitled to take vacation of any length of time with payment of fees and without loss of place in the Centre.

FEE SUBSIDY
Child care fee subsidy may be available through the City of Toronto to help you with the cost of child care. Subsidized fees will be charged in accordance with Toronto Children’s Services policies, and the monthly fee paid by the family will be based on the assessed daily fee contribution.
